Effective 12 July 2026. These terms govern access to CompliClear and preserve mandatory consumer and data-protection rights.
CompliClear is a founder-operated software service based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India 221005. Operator contact: founder@compliclear.com; support: support@compliclear.com. A paid order is not complete unless hosted checkout and the durable order confirmation identify the legal seller, total price, currency, tax treatment, billing interval, renewal terms, and cancellation method.
Dodo Payments may act as merchant of record and legal seller for supported orders; its checkout terms and invoice then govern transaction, tax, refund, and payment responsibilities alongside these product-use terms. If a different seller appears on the order confirmation, that seller's mandatory transaction terms apply. Do not purchase if seller identity is absent or inconsistent.
CompliClear provides compliance assessments, evidence workflows, AI-assisted draft documents, checklists, regulatory research, exports, and collaboration tools. You must be at least 18, able to form a binding contract, and authorized to act for the customer organization. The service is not offered where use would violate sanctions, export controls, or other applicable law.
CompliClear is not a law firm, regulator, notified body, auditor, QSA, certification body, or insurance provider. Outputs are operational drafts and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. They do not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, conformity assessment, regulator approval, audit opinion, certification, or a guarantee of compliance or outcome.
You must verify facts, law, jurisdiction, sources, deadlines, and implementation with qualified professionals before filing, publishing, certifying, launching, or making a consequential decision. The AI Disclaimer forms part of these terms.
You must provide accurate account information, maintain control of authentication factors, use only verified identities, apply least-privilege team roles, and notify us promptly of suspected compromise. Workspace owners are responsible for invitations and authorized-user activity. Account or invitation transfer and identity rebinding require an audited support process.
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant CompliClear and its approved providers a limited right to host, copy, transmit, parse, generate from, secure, back up, and delete that content only to provide, protect, and support the service or comply with law. You represent that you have authority and an appropriate legal basis to submit it.
For customer-controlled personal data, the Data Processing Addendum applies where incorporated by the order or agreement. CompliClear does not intentionally use customer workspace content to train a general-purpose model.
Unless a separately signed agreement expressly authorizes it, do not upload: payment-card numbers or security codes; passwords, private keys, or secrets; raw PHI/ePHI; bank, KYC, non-public financial-account, or government-ID records; biometric templates or faceprints; child records; highly sensitive employment, health, credit, insurance, education, or criminal-justice files; malware; or data you lack authority to process.
Do not use CompliClear to make a solely automated high-impact decision about a person, evade legal duties, generate deceptive compliance claims, probe another tenant, scrape or reverse engineer the service, overload infrastructure, infringe rights, or violate law.
AI features may use configured third-party models. Outputs can hallucinate and require human review. Provider availability, model behavior, and source links may change. Optional analytics and chat require the relevant cookie choice. Hosted payment, authentication, AI, email, storage, and infrastructure providers have independent terms for their services or controller activities.
Checkout controls the specific plan, price, currency, taxes, term, included AI credits, and renewal interval. Unless the order says otherwise, subscriptions renew for the displayed interval until cancelled. Usage limits and credits are account-bound, have no cash value, and may expire or reset as disclosed. We do not store card numbers or card security codes.
Before checkout, an authorized user must accept versioned billing terms. Starting a new checkout does not change an existing subscription until a verified provider event is reconciled. Refund, cancellation, chargeback, or subscription failure may suspend or revoke corresponding access.
You may stop future renewal through the provider portal when available, the online cancellation/withdrawal function, or support. Access normally continues through the paid period unless a refund, chargeback, abuse, or legal requirement ends it earlier.
If mandatory consumer law grants a 14-day or other withdrawal right, that right prevails. If you expressly ask for immediate service during a withdrawal period, you may owe a proportionate amount for service supplied before withdrawal. A right may be lost for fully performed services or supplied digital content only where the law's express-consent and acknowledgement conditions are met. Nothing here waives non-waivable rights.
We may maintain, change, or discontinue features, providers, limits, or modules. We aim to give reasonable notice of materially adverse changes where practicable. We may suspend access for security risk, non-payment, abuse, legal demand, or material breach, using proportionate measures and notice where lawful.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent law permits. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free output, a particular regulatory result, or fitness for an undisclosed use. Mandatory statutory warranties remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, or consequential loss. CompliClear's aggregate liability for the affected service is limited to fees paid for it during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where law forbids it, including applicable fraud, wilful misconduct, death/personal injury, data-protection liability, or mandatory consumer remedies.
Subject to non-waivable consumer and data-protection rights, these terms are governed by the laws of India and courts with jurisdiction in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in their home forum. Contact support first so the parties can attempt good-faith resolution.
Legal and support notices: support@compliclear.com. Privacy/grievance contact: founder@compliclear.com. The seller identity on a paid order must also appear in its checkout receipt and invoice.
